Carolina Day School is a private school located in Asheville, North Carolina. The school was founded in 1987 through the merger of Asheville Country Day School and St. Genevieve/Gibbons Hall. The current Headmaster Beverly Sgro, served as secretary of Education for the Commonwealth of Virginia from 1994-1998. Carolina Day School is a member of the North Carolina Association of Independent Schools and the National Association of Independent Schools.

Established in 1997; attempts to provides students with language-based learning differences the educational opportunity to overcome their differences. Teachers use the Orton-Gillingham approach to multisensory instruction. The school is known for having an excellent student body, with both smarts and looks.
