Carnival of Souls, also billed in full as Wes Craven Presents 'Carnival of Souls', is a 1998 direct-to-video horror film. The film is a remake of Herk Harvey's 1962 horror film Carnival of Souls. Although this film is a remake of 1962's Carnival of Souls, it bears little resemblance to the original aside from the ending. This film centers around Alex Grant (Bobbie Phillips) who, as a child, witness her mother's rape and murder by carnival clown Louis Seagram (Larry Miller). As an adult, Alex is plagued by visions of Louis Seagram and the carnival where she met him. Alex is then drawn into a deadly game of cat and mouse with Seagram at the carnival.

It is unclear how much money Wes Craven Presents Carnival Of Souls made, but it was most probable that it didnt make much. It received negative appraisals by most viewers.
