Carl Wood

Edwin Carlyle (Carl) Wood, AC, CBE, FRCS, FRACOG (Born 28 May 1929) has been dubbed the father of IVF (in vitro fertilisation) having pioneered the use of frozen embryos.[1] Carl Wood was a pioneer of the in vitro fertilization technique, who previously worked at Monash University in Victoria, Australia.
