Carl Alphonce is Computer Science faculty member in the Computer Science & Engineering department at the University at Buffalo, SUNY, in Amherst, NY. He teaches a variety of courses, including introduction to computer science, data structures, programming languages, computational linguistics, and software engineering. He began the development of Green, a UML diagram plug-in for Eclipse, with financial support through an IBM Eclipse Innovation Grant. Green is an on-going project whose primary software developers are undergraduate students in the Computer Science & Engineering department.
