CARTOSAT-3 is the latest satellite of the CARTOSAT series from ISRO. It has a resolution of 30 cm (CARTOSAT-2 has a resolution of 80 cm) [1]. With this high resolution the satellite can shoot images as small as a cat [2]. CARTOSAT-3 is planned to be launched on board PSLV during 2008-09.
