Caput Medusae

The phrase Caput Medusae is Latin for "head of Medusa". It also refer to:
- Caput Medusae (uranography), one of the obsolete constellations. A part of the constellation Perseus.
- Caput medusae (anatomy), distended and engorged umbilical veins.
- Gorgoneion (Γοργόνειον), Greek for "head of Gorgon". Athena fixed the "head of Medusa" into center of her shield, aegis (αιγίς).
