Eggs --> 1st stage larvae (36-150 micro metre) --> 2nd stage larvae (411-500 micro metre) --> Infective larvae --> Adults
Life cycle in nature: Fish --> Bird --> Fish Human became accidentally involved.

Abdominal pain, diarrhea, anorexia, nausea, vomiting, muscle wasting, cardiac failure and hypotension. Produce severe disease which may lead to death. The mortality is around 20% within untreated cases.

Examination of eggs, larvae and adults in feces
[edit] Treatment
1. Thiabendazole, 25mg/kg for 30 days
2. Mebendazole, 400mg/day for 15-20 days
3. Albendazole
