The Cape River Frog (Afrana fuscigula) is a species of frog in the Ranidae family. It is found in Lesotho, Namibia, South Africa, and Swaziland. Its natural habitats are dry savanna, moist savanna, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, subtropical or tropical moist shrubland, Mediterranean-type shrubby vegetation, temperate grassland, subtropical or tropical dry lowland grassland, subtropical or tropical seasonally wet or flooded lowland grassland, rivers, swamps, freshwater lakes, freshwater marshes, freshwater springs, arable land, pastureland, water storage areas, ponds, and wastewater treatment areas. It is threatened by habitat loss.
