United States Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld is greeted by Gen. Cao Gangchuan, vice chairman of Central Military Committee and Minister of National Defense of the People's Republic of China while at the Bayi Building, Beijing on October 18, 2005. Rumsfeld traveled to China for meetings with military and civilian leaders to discuss U.S.-China defense relationships and cooperation in areas of common interest.
