A Canadian cartooning institution, which is currently poorly served by a brief intro para and a lengthy, but rough, list of the shows it has produced over the years. In addition to the cartoons and the company, the story of Nelvana is also that of the rise of commercial Canadian cartoon production, and institutions like Sheridan College. There is an excellent article from ’96 in the LookSmart archives [1], which could be mined for source material, and there’s undoubtedly more out there.
