[edit] Asbestos Strike
This is a very important aspect of Quebec history. It events had a great impact on the future of Quebec in Canada. There is a large amount of information out there on this event however the article is not very large. The strike is also on a huge event in Canadian labour history. It was the second most violent strike after the Winnipeg General Strike.

Comments:
- I know that the Asbestos Strike certainly had a very important impact on the politics, culture, role of Church, and labour history of Quebec, not to mention the boost it gave to the careers of Trudeau, Marchand, and Pelletier but I don't know anything beyond what the article already states. What is lacking and where can it be found? DoubleBlue (Talk) 20:06, 3 August 2005 (UTC)
- More could be done about the events leading up to the strike and the events of the strike. As well there is a lot of room for information on the impact of the strike. This webpage has many primary sources, http://www2.marianopolis.edu/quebechistory/docs/asbestos/index.htm . Benw 19:10, 4 August 2005 (UTC)
