The Canyon-News is a an English-language weekly newspaper published in Beverly Hills, California. It is distributed internationally and is published in conjunction with the San Francisco News. Named the "Canyon-News" for location and coverage area, the Canyon-News serves Bel Air, Benedict Canyon, Beverly Hills,Brentwood, Laurel Canyon, Los Feliz, Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Melrose, Santa Monica, Sherman Oaks, Studio City, Topanga Canyon, Westwood & Hollywood Hills.

Founded in August of 2001, the Canyon-News is published by Glenn Kelly.

The Canyon-News was founded in August of 2001 in Beverly Hills by Winter Kelly. It was adjudicated by the city of Los Angeles


The Canyon-News is molded after [[George Orson Welles]] (May 6, 1915 – October 10, 1985 an Academy Award-winning American director, writer, actor and producer for film, stage, radio and television.

Welles' film, Citizen Kane is the basis of the company.
