Is it still an island? Is it connected to the mainland e.g. by a bridge? Ben Finn 15:53, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

There are two bridges that link it to the mainland, though that doesn't stop it being an island. -- Roleplayer 19:08, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

article looks like it was written by school children. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.7.144.135 (talk) 04:54, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

There are parts that are written by someone who does not like Canvey. This is sad as the rest is interesting and accurate. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.7.116.124 (talk) 21:37, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

Can you point out which parts you are referring to? -- Roleplayer 21:49, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

I've put the population figure back to the 2001 census figure, which is 37,478 according to [1]. I can't believe it has grown to 45,000 in just 6 years. Interplanet Janet 18:11, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

Yes, it's badly written. One example is 'the team was relegated two years back'. Two years back from when?????? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.217.112.50 (talk) 14:05, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
