They are stated to be the same place, just two different names, so I don't see the need for two separate articles WikiGull 19:41, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

Having grown up in Cantril Farm for the first 18 years of my life, I can inform you that they are two separate places. They used to be one and the same when they both fell under the name Cantril Farm, however, when Knowsley Borough was created only (approx.) half of the estate became Stockbridge Village. The part that still falls under Liverpool City Council has always remained Cantril Farm.

I hope this clears up any confusion. =)
