As a long lived mediaeval monastery of abbey status with standing remains and numerous surviving documents associated with it, Canonsleigh Abbey should certainly meet the criteria of notability for wikipedia. It definitely shouldn't be a candidate for deletion, rather it should be a candidate for someone to do a bit of work to fill in the details. The Victoria County History volumes for Devon would be a good place to start. Soph 18:37, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
