I think that Haiskeir of Canna may be another name for Hyskeir. Can anyone confirm this? I can't find any web reference for Haiskeir of Canna that isn't copied from this article.--JBellis 21:28, 31 Mar 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Canna in the news

[edit] Canna is amazing

Canna is the most wonderful place i've ever been to! I stayed there with my dad for a week in Tighard, which is a beautiful house on a high hill overlooking the bay and Canna house. My dad and I went down to Canna house and were shown around by a very nice woman; it was even more amazing than Tighard! A mixture of old and new and a massive library full of records and dusty books - also, lots of cats! The Population is decreasing and The National Trust For Scotland wants people to start moving to Canna to keep it alive. Tighard would be a magnificent place to live and i shall be going back there soon!

You best be quick, Tighard is up for rent! I also stayed in it for one week this summer, braw! Emoscopes Talk 12:37, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

Yes it is indeed up for rent - but the tenant will be expected to run it as a B&B! Dhmellor
