  • I don't think this is a hoax since I had a Canary melon today. I'll take some photos and get a better listing out of The Western Garden book to substantiate this claim. Until then, I'm removing the tag (ADStark 15:05, 16 August 2007 (UTC))

  • Also, I think the bit about the dispute about the origin of the Canary Islands' name is entirely irrelevant to the melon. That's like two degrees of separation. Glitterglue 01:47, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
