The Cane's Challenge is a prize/marketing tool awarded to those in attendance of collegiate athletic events from Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers. Cane's "founder, chairman, CEO, fry cook and cashier" Todd Graves (along with Raising Cane II) announce the challenge at the beginning of each game either in person or via pre-recorded message (i.e.: LSU must block 9 shots; Virginia must get at least six 3-pointers). Should the challenge be met, the fans get buy-one-get-one-free box combos (of equal or lesser value) from Raising Cane's when they present their ticket stub. Students, who usually get in free with their Student ID and do not use tickets, receive a coupon stamped with the game's date upon entering the event arena. The prize is redeemable immediately after the game until close of Raising Cane's the following day, and only in the specified market.
The Cane's Challenge has been initiated at several other Raising Cane's Locations.
