Canadian Doctors for Medicare

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Canadian Doctors for Medicare is a lobby group of Canadian physicians dedicated to publicly financed and publicly administrated medical care.[1]

It runs E-rounds,[2] a mailing to its members that presents evidence for public involvement in medical care. The organization's focus on evidence mirrors the prominence of evidence-based medicine in contemporary medical practise; its advocacy is based largely on what works and has been proven based on study.
