The first Canada Cup took place at Fletcher’s Fields, Toronto and featured England, the USA and Wales along with the hosts. The tournament was won by England.

Although men's wrugby internationals are recorded in great detail by the IRB and participating unions, this is not the case with the women's game. Even many major nations fail to keep an accurate record of their women's teams' performances and the 1993 Canada Cup is one example of this - the result of the game between Canada and Wales being at present untraceable, and the scores in the game between England and Canada are similarly unrecorded.
As a result these games cannot currently be fully included in the following table:
