The Can Kickers are a folk punk band based out of New London, Connecticut. The band's three members, Doug Schaefer, Daniel Spurr, and Daniel Thompson, met in 2000 while attending Connecticut College. They have spent most of their time as a band touring the United States and Ireland and have played (as of 2006-02-25) 394 shows. On January 31st, 2006 the band's live show in Philadelphia was recorded for a live CD, to be put out by Fistolo Records.
