[edit] Methodology

Savoy is the author of Magic Bullets, which introduced the "Emotional Progression Model" - a seven-stage process that takes a man from first seeing a woman to managing the subsequent relationship with her (anything from traditional boyfriend / girlfriend to a one-night stand). The seven phases of the model are:

1) Approaching 2) Transitioning 3) Attraction 4) Qualification 5) Comfort 6) Seduction 7) Relationships

In parallel to the Emotional Progression Model, Savoy (and fellow Love Systems instructors) teach men how to use a similar Physical Progression Model and Logistical Progression Model. The idea of the physical progression model is to steadily increase physical touching with a woman in a way that is both socially appropriate but also communicates and intensifies attraction from the first minute of an interaction. The Logistical Progression Model is a guide to getting a woman from "bad" logistics (usually when she is out with her friends) to "good" logistics (alone with the man somewhere where sex could realistically happen). The Emotional, Physical, and Logistical progression models have to be adapted to the particular setting and time during which you meet a woman, as well as be calibrated to how that woman responds. It is necessary to adapt all three of those models when meeting women during the day, at night in a bar, through friends at a party, and especially women who are online or working as "Hired Guns" in Seduction Community lingo.

He is also co-author (with "The Don") of the Routines Manual, which is the first time someone has brought all of the best "routines" used by pickup artists into one place. A routine is something you can say or do over and over again that "works" with women. A routine can be an opening line, it can be designed to build attraction, develop comfort, increase physical contact, etc. In the book, Savoy and The Don talk about how to build routines to reflect the reader's own individual identity and experiences.

[edit] Innovations

Savoy is known for a number of innovations in seduction methodology, including:

  • Introducing a "Transition" phase between a man's opening line to a woman and a normal conversation.
  • "Prepping" a woman for sex early on a date or in an interaction by joking/teasing/betting about how the eventual sexual encounter will go
  • Specific routines, for example the text message "I just met your twin" to re-initiate contact with a woman who had been unresponsive
  • Building relationship management into the pickup, subtly setting expectations about where in Savoy's 6 Relationship Type model that the eventual relationship will go (from boyfriend/girlfriend to friends with benefits)
  • "Submission testing" for some women who can be seduced through activating their need to be sexually submissive

[edit] Controversy

There is some controversy over the Routines Manual, as some feel that it is potentially manipulative to give men scripts of things they can say to women word-for-word that will cause specific emotional responses in a woman.

[edit] The VH1 show "The Pickup Artist"

Savoy and Mystery were scheduled to appear together as instructors for the first season of the Vh-1 series "The Pickup Artist" but due to a falling out between the two, Savoy did not appear. He helped design and develop the series and is listed as a consultant to the show.

[edit] Involvement in the Dating Science Community

Savoy also operates the largest free pickup and dating forum for men, called The Attraction Forums. He has also written the Preface for the Badboy Lifestyles Seduction Manual, published by colleagues/competitors Badboy Lifestyles.

[edit] Background outside of seduction

Savoy attended the Wharton School of Business, receiving his MBA in 2003. He has lived in Canada, Germany, South Africa, Slovakia, and the United Arab Emirates. He currently lives in Los Angeles, California.
