Good work, Chgallen! However, I don't think that having a per-college colour of the top of the infobox is a good idea. I think the colours on all instances of this infobox should be identical and recognisable. — Richie 17:13, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

About the colours... this infobox is really just a slight edit of the older Template:Oxford College Infobox, so I thought it best to keep the same colour functionality in. Since the two infoboxes serve fundamentally the same purpose - only differences being link destinations, terminology, and the absence of a Cambridge map (hence a smaller size) - I assumed consensus of style would be carried over. However, if the Oxford colleges also decide on having a uniform colour scheme, then I wouldn't have any objections to this template following suit. Unless I'm being stupid and have missed something (not that unlikely), I would suggest continuing to provide similar functionality in both infoboxes for the moment. The template assumes that only Latin mottos are used. However Magdalene's is Old French, something which I'm having trouble conveying, using this new box. Jetekus 19:57, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] JCR/MCR president

As per previous discussion on Template talk:Oxbridge College Infobox, I am removing JCR/MCR presidents from the infobox, as they are not sufficiently relevant to the college articles and also change too frequently. — Richie 19:58, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

These are optional anyway so I've put them back. They only appear if the information has been entered

If the JCR and MCR Presidents are ommitted, then the SCR President should also be removed. The SCR is normally the least active common room. WikiWebbie 19:41, 30 April 2008
