As the person who placed the speedy-delete tag, I support Ravedave's effort. I'd remove the speedy delete template, except I'm not quite sure whether I'm allowed to do that or not. Nyttend 15:09, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
Since Pike died in 1813, I'm doubtful he headed the group that worked on the fort in 1820. It was probably Leavenworth, but I'll doublecheck.Dale662 (talk) 21:40, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
It was Henry Leavenworth, succeeded in August 1820 by Josiah Snelling.Dale662 (talk) 21:44, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
