The view looking west from Las Posas Road in Camarillo, California. Southern and some northern parts of Camarillo and the unincorporated areas of the eastern Oxnard Plain near the Santa Monica Mountains are very rural, while Oxnard in the western Oxnard Plain is an urban area with a population of nearly 200,000 as of 2005.
