CampusExplorer.com is a college information portal. The site utilizes Web 2.0 tools to allow users to search for schools, research admissions, and finally connect with a college.

CampusExplorer.com was founded by Jerry Slavonia and Brian Hartnack in 2007. Both founders were senior executives at Rent.com which was purchased in 2005 by eBay[1].

In August 2007, CampusExplorer.com raised money in a Series A round of investment. Series A investors include Rincon Venture Partners and O'Connor Ventures[2].

The CampusExplorer.com board of directors include Kevin O'Connor of O'Connor Ventures, co-founder and former CEO of DoubleClick, Jim Andelman of Rincon Venture Partners, and Brian Barnum, CFO, COO and President of R.H. Donnelly Interactive[3]. Founders Jerry Slavonia and Brian Hartnack also sit on the board.
