Camilo Coba is an young Filmaker and photographer from Ecuador who received many film awards at a young age.

Camilo Coba was born in Quito, Ecuador on 7 September 1986. He partially studied film direction in Buenos Aires, Argentina in the university of the 60's Argentine director Manuel Antin where he had several awards in his particular and group practical works. At the moment he is attending the Movie and Video Race in the The San Francisco University in Quito. In the life practices he is outstanding at making his first film opera 'El Silencio No Existe' (The Silence Does Not Exist), rolling from the age of 19 years and concluding at the moment to his 21 years of age. The film received recognition of the Washington DC International Film Festival, catalogued in the American Press as "the Sundance of the East Coast".
He has also participated in numerous time in short film projects as much in Argentina as in Ecuador, in the has mainly worked as Director of Photography and Cinematography. From when he found the Intisana School, he resprented Ecuador in international contests like The Dwight School I.B. Film Festival, he participated in this at the age of 17 years y obtained the Special Jury Prize the same that he received the ambassador of Ecuador for the United Nations in the name of the young director that he didn't represent his country alone, but all of Latin America being the only short film selected from the region. The same history repeated itself four years later in the Washington DC International Film Festival, in that he represented Ecuador and Latin America together with the Cuban Director Humberto Solas and his film 'Barrio Cuba' (Cuban District).
