[edit] Innis and Gunn - Caledonian

I believe the Innis and Gunn isn't brewed at Caledonian itself and think the only connection is that is an ex employee of Caledonian. I think the info at the quaffale link is wrong and even if it wasn't Innis and Gunn shouldn't be a subsection of the Caledonian page.

Innis & Gunn definitely is not brewed at the Caledonian Brewery (I work there). It is a separate brand and is not brewed at this site.

[edit] Updates

Added a more detailed history of the brewery craig.shepherd@calbrewco.co.uk

[edit] Ownership

Craig - or other interested editors, can we get the ownership bit right? As I understand it, S&N owns 100% of the physical brewery site, and a minoriry share holding in the Caledonian brewing company ltd.(two differnt things I think). The brewing site is opererated by the brewing company - but not owned by it.

Does this make sense and can others validate or otherwise before I commit to an edit in the article. Warburton62 23:38, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

Just found this which seems to confirm above: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/3496871.stm
