Calypso in Twisted Metal 2 intro.

The image is taken from the game's intro movie and suffers from the MPEG-1 compression.

Each year there is a contest of car combat and the winner wins a wish, this is all done by the evil Calypso. Calypso loves tricking contestants that`ve won his contest and sometimes gives them another wish that is bad. For severals years his contest has been on to the world. He grants wishes by using a demon ring which he stole from a powerful demon by the name of Minion. He also stole a demon called Black to gather up the prizes. His demon ring was stolen by Sweethooth in Twisted Metal 4 and he competes in his own game just to get the ring back from the clown. In Twisted Metal Black he is different, he has a shaved head and one eye, although he is not real in the game. There was someone else called Billy Calypso who invents a contest for high school kids to compete and get their wish.

Calypso seems to have family but all of them died from a car crash leaving him alive. In Twisted Metal 2 there is something called an L.A.P.D. to kill Calypso, it's his fake daughter which blows up on Calypso to end the contest. In Minions ending in Twisted Metal 2,Minion send Calypso to hell by saying "time to rot in hell with your little sister",Calypso's sister might`ve stole powers from Minion long ago or it's maybe that Minion just sends her to hell.
