English: An alternate version of en::Image:Calabi-Yau.png. This version is slightly transparent. The boundaries of triangles are also rendered in a lighter color allowing one to note the five-fold symmetry at some vertices.

This image appeared on the cover of the November 2007 issue of en:Scientific American.
