Calcium storage

Calcium (Ca²⁺ ) storages (in cell biology) are intracellular organelles, that constantly accumulate Ca²⁺ ions and release them during certain cellular events. Intracellular Ca²⁺ storages include mitochondria and the endoplasmic reticulum.
