The Cadillac XLS is the long rumored flagship of GM's Cadillac Marque riding on the new Sigma-Zeta Platform. It is reportedly set to compete with the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, and the BMW 7 Series. Engines will be either a V-8 or Cadillac's first V-12 in more than fifty years sending power to the rear wheels. Design is said to be heavily based on the 2003 Cadillac Sixteen concept. With a base price set well into the $100,000 range, it is to be the most expensive Cadillac as well.
