Talk:Cablevision
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Probably should develop the info on the death of the West Side Stadium proposal and NYC's 2012 Olympics bid... but I have a conflict of interest so someone with a more neutral point of view should do it :P - RayaruB

[edit] fiber
Is'nt most of Cablevisions cable network fiber optic?
[edit] This page should be for the US Cablevision article, not a disambiguation page.
This page should be for the Cablevision article. The Canadian Cablevision is a small regional cable system, when the US Cablevision is not only a regional cable operator, but the owner of some internationally distributed cable and satellite networks, and iconic venues including Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall. It's not like they two frequently confused companies. What do you think? 71.247.179.161 14:40, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
- I see that someone reverted the changes without commenting on this page. Please discuss here before another change is made. Milchama 21:47, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
- Support - clear case for the move and the Canadian company can be a DAB link on the main article. TerriersFan 03:11, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Move talk page
When Cablevision (US) was moved back to Cablevision, it didn't include the talk page. Milchama 18:02, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Cablevision Logo.gif
Image:Cablevision Logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 03:50, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
