In the politics of Thailand, the Cabinet is a formal body composed of government officials chosen by the Prime Minister.

Samak Sundaravej Cabinet
Following the Thai general election on 23 December 2007, King Bhumibol Adulyadej commissioned Samak Sundaravej, leader of the People's Power Party, to form a government. Samak's ministry took office on 6 February 2008. It is a coalition of the People's Power Party, which won the largest number of seats at the election, with several smaller parties, such as the Thai Nation Party (or Chart Thai), the Thais United National Development Party (RJCPP) and For the Motherland (Puea Pandin).
