[edit] Biography
After he released his fourth studio album, Lucid Intervals and Moments of Clarity in 2000, Michael Angelo Batio started a project to produce an album with vocals, as opposed to his mostly instrumental work of previous years. Batio recruited Dan Lenegar to do the vocal work, as well as Bill Kopecky on bass and John Mrozek on drums. The band's only album, Call to Arms, featured Batio's signature guitar-playing style, accompanied by powerful backing musicianship, and was the first vocal album of Batio's since his time with Nitro.
