C.U. Burn

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

C.U. Burn is a cult Irish language television comedy, previously broadcast on TG4. It told of Donegal undertakers Charlie and Vincie Burn who ran a turf-fueled crematorium. The show revolved around the hapless Charlie whose misendeavours often led to much chaos while all his long-suffering brother Vincie wanted was a quiet life. It was written by Niall Mac Eamharcaigh and was first broadcast in 1996. The series was filmed entirely in the Donegal Gaeltacht area.
