C.J. Hawthorne is an American football wide receiver for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League. Prior to signing as a rookie free agent, he played for the University of Hawaii Warriors.
He transferred from a Mississippi junior college and played Defensive Back his first year with the warriors and in his senior year he caught 8 touchdowns and is part of the "dreadheads" consisting of the Hawaii receiving core such as Ryan Grice-Mullen, Davone Bess, and Jason Rivers along with "lil' deuce" which is Hawthorne nickname.
