[edit] Move Hakim Mansour Ellis?

Suggested move due to his attested attempt at name changing. 68.39.174.238 03:30, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

Oppose, for now. I like the idea in theory (I was the one who put the new name in the intro, after all), but I want to see how the media and Ellis himself actually use the new name to see how it will develop. (As in, will he be known as "Hakim Ellis", "Hakim M. Ellis", "H. Mansour Ellis", "Hakim 'Jack' Ellis" or what?) Rationale being, I don't think we should move it and then later realize it should've been moved elsewhere. For now, the media is still using "C. Jack", so I think we should stick with that until a consensus emerges from other media outlets saying otherwise. --SuperNova |T|C| 05:21, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

I'm delisting this request from WP:RM after five days as a "no consensus". We'll wait until the media sets a lead, and then follow it, per WP:COMMONNAME. -GTBacchus(talk) 20:43, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

Whoops -- I learned of the change and went ahead with the move prior to checking the talk page. Sorry for leaping before looking. I'll leave it to whoever best knows how to handle the situation to correct my mistake. Erechtheus 18:06, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] CHANGE TITLE BACK?

since his name has not been changed, he is just proposing the change, the title should be changed back to C. Jack Ellis, rather than hakeem.
