C.J. Tywoniak (born February 20, 1990 in San Mateo, CA) is an electric guitar prodigy and Paul Green's most accomplished student.[1] He stood out in the rock music documentary film Rock School as a guitarist who can play better than most of the guitarists you see on "Saturday Night Live."[2] As a 12-year old in the movie that was filmed in 2002-3 and produced in 2005, he played riffs from Carlos Santana, Frank Zappa & The Kinks like a musical genius.[3] He has studied with Joe Stump and has played with Jon Anderson, Adrian Belew, Ike Willis, John Wetton, Max Johnson, Brad Roberts, Peter Frampton, Alice Cooper and Eddie Vedder.[4] He has received a scholarship offer from the Berklee College of Music and got accepted to the University of Miami.[4] As as result of the movie he was invited to perform on MTV's Total Request Live.[4] Roger Ebert suggests he may be destined for the Juilliard School.[2]He is currently teaching at the Paul Green's School of Rock in Downingtown, PA and is rumored to have taught guitar prodigies Charlie Nolan and Ben Richards. C.J. has recently hired his first personal assistant, Kristin McCrossin. CJ is also working on a film titled WITCH HUNT: ZACK SCOTT and features popular local actress, Hannah Alpert, as well as the kids from the Downingtown School of Rock.
