C. H. Chapman

Charles Henry Chapman, (1879 -- 1972) who signed his work as C. H. Chapman, was a British cartoonist best known for his work on the Billy Bunter cartoons.

Chapman started submitting comics for publication in around 1900. His work was seen in magazines like The Captain, Marvel, Pluck, Boy's Friend, Boy's Herald, Boy's Leader, Chips, Comic Cuts, Jester and Big Budget.

Chapman first illustrated the Bunter character in the 1930s, and continued until the late 1930s; he also illustrated several Bunter books published in the 1950s and 1960s.
