Cândido de Oliveira

Cândido de Oliveira was a Portuguese football player and sports journalist who played for the Portuguese national football team. He was one of Portugal's early football stars who revolutionized Portuguese football.

He founded sports newspaper A Bola in 1945, and was coach of FC Porto between 1953 and 1954.

The Portuguese Super Cup is named SuperCup Cândido de Oliveira after him.
