ρηκολουθη
κότι ἄνωθε[ν]
πᾶσιν ἀκρι
βῶς καθε
ξὴς σοι γρά
ψαι κράτι
στε θεόφιλε
ἵνα ἐπεγνῶς
πέρι ὧν κατηχήθης λόγων τὴν ἀσφάλειαν.
Ἐγένετο ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις ἡρώδου τοῦ βασιλέ
ως τῆς ἰουδαίας · ἱερεύς τις ὀνόματι ζαχα
ρίας · ἐξ ἐφημερίας ἀβιά · καὶ ἣ γυνὴ αὐτου
ἐκ τῶν θυγατέρων ἀαρών · καὶ τὸ ὄνομα
