Byron Stephen Cox (born 19 August 1985, in Ashford, Middlesex, England) is a musician. He is a drummer, bassist, songwriter, producer and tutor. He is passionate about all music but in particular blues, hiphop, rock and jazz. Byron's influences include death cab for cutie, john mayer, incubus, rufus wainwright, cold war kids and herbie hancock. His favourite drummers are Steve Jordan, Abe Laboriel Jr, Jason McGeer, Jose Pasillas and John Blackwell, his favourite bassists are Ben Kenney, James Jamerson and Troy Antunes.
Byron is a highly experienced stage and studio drummer, known for his killer groove, performance and relentless time playing. He has spent the past six years playing for and writing with a large number of bands and artists.
Interests. Other than music Byron is passionate about screen play writing and direction.
Occupation. As well as Byron's studio work he has been teaching drums for over six years. He helps both beginners and advanced talents to achieve their full musical potentials.
