Talk:Byron Calvert
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This entry is so full of inaccuracies that it's almost laughable. First of all, Cecchini is the surname of Byron's stepfather, not his biological father. Secondly, Robert Millar, the 4th place finisher of the Tour de France, is not Byron's father-in-law (check your own entry/reference, under Elohim City.) Furthermore, Byron parted company with Dr. Pierce on good terms. Byron did visit South Africa and the former Yugoslavia... on vacation! Byron did not spend 43 months in prison, as claimed. These are only a few of the inaccuracies of this ridiculously flawed entry.
You might as well have claimed that Byron was abducted by horny space lizards (and that he had detailed discussions with both Adolf Hitler and Elvis while aboard their spaceship, before single-handedly defeating the hoards of reptilians and taking over the craft.) Byron's crop-circle styled "Neo Nazi emblems" (swastikas) have yet to be discovered in the lush fields of Antarctica. *giggling*
Please, either delete or correct this entry.
- I contest the 'speedy deletion' of this page. The subject of this article has been cited in numerous prominant publications, most notably the Washington Post. He came to national attention when his home was raided by the FBI and his views gain widespread attention throughout the American neo Nazi community.--Edchilvers 06:08, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
- One of the few downsides of WP:BLP is it means we have to bend over backwards to be fair to scum. Even if you think Calvert is scum, and given his running of neo-nazi record companies that would be a defensible position, we cannot descend to tabloid journalism. Please rebuild the article without resorting to activist sources - pro- or anti-nazi. If we cannot find at least three or four substantial, neutral, mainstream sources then this article should be deleted. Guy (Help!) 20:36, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
