[edit] Alerting all Byomkesh fans

It's a shame that there is such a dearth of information on one of our most famous fictional detectives. I'll work on it over time but please add information as you see fit.

[edit] Reworking now

This is my major project for now... I am going to link each novel and then finalize the main-page with sections such as Main characters, Development of Byomkesh novels, Trivia, Influence on Popular Indian Culture and Sharadindu on Byomkesh. But I'll need some time, since my day job (which pays the bills) is really taking up most of my life right now. --Antorjal 05:19, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The Episode Listing

I would also love to see the episode listing of the popular series of Doordarshan. I did a half hearted google, but in vain. I have no idea of the total number of episodes either as I was just 8 when this was screened. They used to mention the title as well as the place and year for each episode. Here is a incomplete list: Please complete this list and when completed transfer it to main page.

[edit] fine man

Its fine man, i was the one who did the edit to make it Rajat kapoor, as I thought it was a petty mistake. Dont be so angry.nids(♂) 05:31, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

Nope not angry at all. It's a common error. One that I've made in the past and been corrected and that's how I know...lol. I was about to post a clarification on your talk page. Take care and have a nice day :-) --Anirban 05:34, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Byomkesh book cover.jpg

Image:Byomkesh book cover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:56, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
