[edit] N'Kisi
Nice job in tracking down references! I really like the one about bird intelligence in general. I have no dispute with you overall, but I am very conservative when it comes to telepathy. Absolutely no credible evidence exists concerning telepathy as given by the standard definition, and to apply the term to birds is stretching even father. I do not doubt something previously unnoticed by scientists is going on here; N'kisi's apparent skill at "knowing at distance" is pretty credible to me, but I very much hesitate to use the word "telepathy" for it, because that term comes with so much human baggage. Your phrase "Some scientists" very much needs to replaced with "A few scientists". Brian Josephson is a good physicist, but he is a physicist, not an animal behaviorist. It is not unlike asking a geologist for assistance with marital problems - suddenly one is out of one's depth. It would be more useful to have someone more closely related to the field of non-primate communications to quote. You have put a lot of work into this article - would you be interested in pursuing that? Denni talk 22:37, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
