The Gang Green Gang walks down the street looking for trouble. At the slightest trigger, the gang begins harassing a group of children via playing rough until the Powerpuff Girls arrive.
Ace, the gang leader, tries to make them look innocent by saying they were just there to play and have fun (the fact that this is set in a park helps his "pleas"). Blossom and Bubbles aren't near convinced but Buttercup is moved to tears. She convinces Blossom to command they stand their forces down to them. Ace tips his shades to an infatuated Buttercup who let them get away, just this once...
The next day, the children of Ms. Keene and the children of Pokey Oaks Kindergarten are taking a field-trip tour of the Townsville Museum of Natural History.
The Gang Green also happens to be there, they are stalking a soda machine wondering where they get change for a Soda from, when Arturo (another one of the gangs members) gets the idea of where to get change for the machine from: "This Mesopotamian Vase is probably worth a couple of bucks..."
The vase is shattered attracting the Girls attention. They catch the Gang Green Gang in the act just as they are attempting to shove an oversized mummy sarcrophogus through the slot. Ace once again convinces Buttercup to let them go. Proclaiming they just wanted a soda, which was actually true. Ace suggest Buttercup to come "hang out" at his place, which she engages later that night. Sneaking out.
At the hideout, things start out awkwardly for Butter or rather Ace's gang who all, except Ace, had not known of Buttercup's sudden interest with them but later on in the night, seem to fade to good terms.
As the sun rises, Ace once again invites Buttercup to "hang out" with them next night.
The next night, Ace and Buttercup hang out alone in the single shack at the citydump, just as him and his group planned. Next, Grubber (another gang member) tricks Bubbles into making Blossom believe with her that Buttercup is in trouble at the city dump stuck on a conveyor belt.
Without questioning what Buttercup, might have been doing there to begin with, the two are off...and immediately trapped inside metal cubes which are set to be dipped into a vat of molten steel!
Inside the tightly cealed shack, Blossom and Bubbles' cries for help are completey toned out by a stereo system cranked to top volume. Ace and Buttercup are dancing about wildy when Buttercup accidentally knocks down a wall giving her a full view of what she had seconds ago been completely unaware of.
She takes out the entire gang before any serious harm can be done to her beloved sisters.
Though neither knew what was going on with Buttercup the past 2 days, she apologizes and wraps her arms around them.
