5 miles off of State Route 32 on Humboldt Rd. in Butte County lies the unincorporated community of Butte Meadows. The town is about 45 minutes or 33 miles east of Chico on SR32. Its elevation is listed at 4,351 feet above mean sea level (AMSL): certain to get snow in winter of any year. The community's ZIP code is 95942, which is shared with the community of Forest Ranch to the south. The area code is 530.
