The Business Development Board is a non-profit organization located in West Palm Beach, Florida. In 1982, the BDB was founded as Palm Beach County's official economic development organization. It has three main objectives: to attract new businesses to Palm Beach County, to keep current businesses in Palm Beach County, and to provide special services to businesses that have a membership with the Business Development Board.
The Business Development Board has received significant local attention due to its role in recruiting the non-profit The Scripps Research Institute to open a facility in Palm Beach County.
