Conversations on Chemistry, Intended More Especially for the Female Sex was a pedagogical work of popular science written by Jane Haldimand Marcet and published anonymously in 1805. Despite being a textbook aimed at female children, it proved massively popular and influential throughout much of the nineteenth century.
